While I told my brother I wasn't going to be petty about these things, its honestly hard not to take in the schadenfreude that has washed over me yesterday as the boss went around the factory asking people around to stop their work in order to go help the brownose reindeers from the other factory, her "elite", our company's "top performers".

The same team that last December made a speech at the company dinner in front of the CEO and all of his important business buddies. Nevermind many of us peasants were ordered to stop our own work in order to go help them.

As for me, well sorry boss, but I really can't stay, I got an appointment after work XD But hey, that team is "the best", right? Surely, they won't mess this up by not meeting the deadline, not now that the company's biggest client is watching, right? :^)

Such is the fate of all those at the top. Its lonely up there, no one will help you, everyone wants to see you fall and when it happens, no one will be there to catch you.
